Tobacco Consumption the Greatest Health Challenge, Participants of WHO Conference Agree
Ljubljana, 8 December - Participants of a World Health Organisation (WHO) pre-ministerial conference held in Ljubljana labelled the consumption of tobacco as the greatest challenge to public health. This problem, the participants wrote in the final draft of the declaration entitled Tobacco-Free Europe, can only be fought through partnership - in co-operation with various international organisation and non-governmental institutions, according to reports from a Slovene Health Ministry official.
