Slovenia Celebrates World Human Rights Day and Ratification of Rome Statute

Ljubljana, 10 December - The day that the International Criminal Court is established will be the most beautiful day for those who act to protect human rights since 10 December 1948, when the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted. These words of Canadian judge Jules Descenes were reiterated on Monday at the Ljubljana Faculty of Law, which hosted a celebration of the World Human Rights Day and the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
