Drnovsek to Run for LDS President at January's Party Congress

Brdo pri Kranju, 11 December - Prime Minister and LDS President Janez Drnovsek will run for re-election as president of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia, the senior coalition party. This plan was revealed to the press by Drnovsek on Tuesday after meeting LDS ministers and MPs at Brdo pri Kranju, some 30 km NW of Ljubljana. The party is due to hold a congress in January.
