Slovenia In the Lead by the Number of Closed Chapters in the EU Accession Talks

Brussels, 12 December - Slovenia closed three more chapters of the EU acquis at accession talks in Brussels on Wednesday, namely those on the free movement of persons, on taxation, and on justice and home affairs. Thus the country took the lead among EU candidate countries by the number of closed chapters, as it has closed 25 out of 29 chapter that are being negotiated upon.
