Sweden's Forsberg Wins First Individual Women's Biathlon Race of the Year

Pokljuka, 12 December - Sweden's Magdalena Forsberg is the winner of this year's first individual biathlon World Cup race for women. With one missed shot, the five-time overall World Cup winner finished the 15 kilometre event 25.3 second ahead of Uschi Disl from Germany and over one minute ahead of another German, Andrea Henkel. Two Slovene racers managed to win some World Cup points as well, with Tadeja Brankovic finishing 25th and Andreja Grasic coming in at 28th.
