MPs' Opposition to Selling Slovene Brewer to Foreigners Echoes in the Press

Ljubljana, 13 December - To put it mildly, the signatures collected by as many as 57 MPs who have urged two state-owned funds not to sell their stakes in a Slovene brewer to foreigners, are in very bad taste. What comes as sour icing on the cake, however, is the fact that as many as 21 of these MPs are members of the ruling LDS, the daily Dnevnik observes Thursday under the headline "Sour Icing on the Cake".
