Catholic Weekly Responds to Slovenia-Vatican Agreement

Ljubljana, 13 December - As a country which has recently got rid of communism, Slovenia is the last among European countries with a predominantly Catholic population that has reached an agreement with the Roman-Catholic Church on legal issues, the latest edition of the Catholic weekly Druzina (Family) comments an agreement between the State and the Holy See which was initialled on Monday. "The culprit is not to be sought among the Vatican diplomats, which is something those who have opposed the agreement all along are well aware of," Druzina writes.
