Expert on Slavic Studies Decorated with Golden Order of Freedom

Vienna, 13 December - Dr Stanislav Hafner, an expert on Slavic studies from Austria's Graz, was conferred a Golden Order of Freedom of Slovenia on Thursday at a ceremony in Vienna. The decoration was presented to him by Slovene Ambassador to Austria Ivo Vajgl, while the ceremony was also to be attended by President of the Slovene Academy or Sciences and Arts, Dr France Bernik. The Golden Order of Freedom is a decoration awarded by Slovene President Milan Kucan.
