Russia's Pavel Rostovcev Wins Men's 20 Kilometre Biathlon Event at Pokljuka

Pokljuka, 13 December - Pavel Rostovcev of Russia is the winner of the men's 20 km individual Biathlon World Cup event held at Slovenia's Pokljuka. Without a single missed shot, he came in over 30 seconds ahead of Latvia's Ilmar Bricis and 34.3 seconds before the third-placed Frenchman Vincent Defrasne. Slovene runners did not do too well in the heavy snowfall, the only bright exception being Tomas Globocnik, who managed to win some more World Cup points after finishing 24th.
