Slovene PEN Centre Gearing Up for 35th International Meeting of Writers

Ljubljana, 14 December - After celebrating its 75th anniversary, the Slovene PEN centre is getting ready for a traditional annual international PEN conference which is scheduled to take place in May at the Slovene lakeside resort of Bled. The event is to be attended by a number of acclaimed authors, as well as those coming from what Veno Taufer, president of the Slovene PEN, dubbed "a neglected cultural periphery".
