Slovenia's Peter Mankoc Sets World Record in 100m Medley

Antwerp, 15 December - Slovene swimmer Peter Mankoc set a world record in 100 m medley at the European Championships in Swimming held in Belgium's Antwerpen on Saturday. Mankoc managed the distance in 52.63 seconds in the semi-finals, by 14 hundredths of a second beating the previous record set by American Neil Walker on 19 March 2000 at the World Championships in Athens.
