New Reform of EU Should Not be a Condition for Enlargement, Says Drnovsek
Brussels, 15 December - Slovenia welcomes the formation of a special convention that is to prepare the guidelines for a new, more comprehensive institutional reform of the EU, however it does not wish to see the necessary planned reform to become a condition for enlargement. This is what Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said on Saturday, as he attended a working lunch of EU leaders with their counterparts from the candidate countries in Belgium's Laeken.
