Biathlon World Cup: France's Poiree Wins 12.5 Km Pursuit Event

Pokljuka, 16 December - Raphael Poiree of France won a Biathlon World Cup 12.5 km pursuit event at Slovenia's Pokljuka. Poiree, the winner of last year's World Cup, missed one shot and came ahead of Russia's Pavel Rostovcev (3 missed shots) by 1 minute and 30 seconds and Norway's Halvard Hanevold (2) by 1 minute and 52 seconds.
