Ljubljana, 16 December - As announced by Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, Slovenia and Croatia are to sign an agreement on the jointly-owned Krsko N-plant next week, likely on 20 December. The energy sector kept making news headlines this week, as the government decided to fully liberalise the electricity market ahead of schedule, meaning that as of 1 January 2002 power could be imported without restrictions, and Slovenia was removed from Austria's E-Control's list of countries from which the import of electricity was banned.
