IFJ to Launch Independent Investigation into Case of Beaten-Up Slovene Journalist

Brussels, 17 December - Due to serious doubts regarding the quality of the investigation into the attack on Slovene journalist Miro Petek, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has decided to launch an independent investigation into the case, IFJ Secretary General Aidan White said Monday after meeting in Brussels with representatives of Slovene journalists.
