Slovenia's Change of Europe Ministers Not to Affect EU Membership Preparations

Ljubljana, 17 December - A new Minister of European Affairs would not affect Slovenia's EU accession negotiations, according to the head of the European Commission delegation to Slovenia, Eric van der Linden, and Belgian Ambassador to Slovenia Georges Godart. Their reaction came after the appointment of incumbent Europe Minister Igor Bavcar to the post of chairman and CEO of petrol trader Istrabenz on Monday. Bavcar has announced his resignation from the government.
