Delo: New Broom

Ljubljana, 18 December - Outgoing Europe Minister Igor Bavcar will be the new broom in the Koper oil holding Istrabenz as of June next year. The incumbent Istrabenz boss Janko Kosmina believes that Bavcar will continue the company's current development, which falls in line with Bavcar's advice given to Kosmina as Interior Minister in 1992 on how to supply fresh capital to Istrabenz, writes Tuesday's issue of Slovene daily Delo.
