Interbrew to Raise Takeover Bid on Slovene Brewery

Ljubljana, 18 December - Belgian brewer Interbrew is to make a new takeover bid for Slovenia's second brewery Pivovarna Union. The company is currently discussing the new offer, which can be made public on 20 December, with two of Union's major stake holders, the Slovene Pension Management Fund (KAD) and the Slovene Reimbursement Fund (SOD), according to Tuesday's daily Finance.
