Interbrew Raises Takeover Bid for Pivovarna Union Shares

Ljubljana, 18 December - Belgian brewer Interbrew raised its takeover bid for Slovenia's Pivovarna Union to SIT 80,500 (EUR 364) per share from the previous SIT 73,000 (EUR 330), said Interbrew on Tuesday. The Ljubljana Stock Exchange suspended trading with Union shares, due to Interbrew's official notification.
