PM on Interbrew Takeover and N-Plant Agreement During a Question Round in Parliament

Ljubljana, 18 December - It would be a complete economic and political disaster if Slovenia accepted such simplification, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Tuesday responded to a question raised in parliament by opposition MP Zmago Jelincic, who expressed concern over the partnership between the Slovene brewery Pivovarna Union and Belgium's brewer Interbrew and asked the PM if he really cared so little for Slovene national wealth. Drnovsek said such claims were utterly misleading and labelled them as cheap demagoguery.
