Slovenia's Majdic Takes Second Place in World Cup Cross-Country Meet

Asiago, 19 December - Slovenia's Petra Majdic finished second in the women's sprint World Cup cross-country event in Italy's Asiago on Wednesday. The results is Majdic's best ever finish in a World Cup event. Norway's Bente Skari was the winner of the race, finishing 3.6 seconds ahead of Majdic. Third place was shared by Canada's Beckie Scott and Finland's Kati Sundqvist (+4.4).
