Backlogs in Slovene Court Greatly Reduced in the Recent Years
Ljubljana, 19 December - In this year's report on Slovenia progress towards EU accession, progress in justice was assessed most favourably. Among candidate countries, too, Slovenia is the best prepared as regards the chapter of justice and home affairs, which is also one of the reasons why this negotiating chapter was closed last Wednesday, Mitja Deisinger, president of the Supreme Court, said in a comment on last week's success.
