Slovenia to Introduce Energy Labels as of 2002

Ljubljana, 19 December - Slovenia will introduce energy labels next for household appliances in a bid to inform consumers of the appliances' energy consumption, and to give producers a unique proof of their competitive advantage. This was announced on Wednesday by Franc Beravs, director of the Slovene Agency for the Efficient use of Energy.
