Parliament Adopts Third Changes to Pension Act

Ljubljana, 19 December - The amendments to the act on pension and disability insurance were adopted 49 votes against four by the Slovene Parliament on Wednesday. The changes do away with some vague points of the act adopted in January 2000, but preserves the system of harmonising pensions in line with wages. The amended act is to take effect on 1 January 2002.
