Sweden's Nyberg Wins Giant Slalom at Kranjska Gora, Pavlovcic Third

Kranjska Gora, 20 December - Sweden's Frederik Nyberg took first place in the World Cup giant slalom event held at Slovenia's Kranjska Gora. Nyberg was 0.25 seconds quicker than Austria's Benjamin Raich and 0.34 seconds ahead of Slovenia's Uros Pavlovcic. Pavlovcic pleased the home crowd by recording his best-ever World Cup finish.
