Austria's Raich Wins World Cup Giant Slalom Event in Kranjska Gora

Kranjska Gora, 21 December - Austria's Benjamin Raich is the winner of the second World Cup giant Slalom event held at Slovenia's Kranjska Gora. He was 0.42 seconds quicker that Bode Miller of the U.S., and came in over one second ahead of Swiss Didier Cuche. Slovene skiers failed to win a single point this time after Uros Pavlovcic finished third in yesterday's giant slalom event.
