Parliament Adopts Law on "Schengen" Border Crossings

Ljubljana, 21 December - In fast track procedure, lawmakers adopted a law on Friday regulating the construction of "Schengen" border crossings. The law will simplify procedures for the issuing of permits for the purchase of land as well as construction of buildings at the border crossings which will have to be set up or upgraded once the Schengen border is established on Slovenia's southern border with Croatia.
