Higher Unemployment Expected in 2002 Due to Recession

Ljubljana, 21 December - After years of falling unemployment figures, the unemployment rate is expected to increase in 2002 due to economic downturn. Thus, 103,0000 to 104,000 persons are expected to be out of work next year in Slovenia, Slovenia's Employment Office told a news conference on Friday.
