First Slovene Baby in 2002 a Boy from Ptuj

Ljubljana, 1 January - The first Slovene child in 2002 was born in Ptuj, northeastern Slovenia seven minutes after midnight. The baby boy was followed by the first girl, born half an hour later in the capital of Ljubljana.
