New Year Celebrations Pass without Major Casualties

Ljubljana, 1 January - As much as 180 injured persons sought help at the emergency department of Klinicni center, the Ljubljana central hospital, on Monday, the last day of 2001. Until 10:30 AM on Tuesday another 107 emergency patients were taken care of. Five of these patients have been hurt by firecrackers and rockets.
