Slovene Exporters Will Have to Confront Global Recession in 2002
Ljubljana, 2 January - Slovene economy, which sells around two thirds of products to demanding EU markets, is about to face new challenges in the coming year due to negative effects of the recession on these markets. Leading Slovene exporters, which have compensated for the lower exports to the EU with stronger exports to the markets of former Yugoslavia and particularly Russia, are now searching for further opportunities.
