Beer War Still Echoes in the Press

Ljubljana, 3 January - The auctioning of Union shares is not yet over. The supervisory board of the Pension Fund Management (KAD), an owner of an over ten percent stake in brewer Pivovarna Union, is expected to discuss today a new bid for Union shares placed by another brewer, namely Pivovarna Lasko, a daily writes on Thursday, commenting what has turned out to be a "beer war" between Slovene and foreign investors.
