Pavliha's Candidacy for UN Maritime Court Judge Sent to Parliament

Ljubljana, 11 January - President Milan Kucan sent to parliament his proposal for the appointment of Dr Marko Pavliha as Slovenia's candidate for the post of judge at the UN Maritime Court in Hamburg. The move comes on Friday, a day after Kucan held a series of consultations with all heads of parliamentary factions, who all considered Pavliha a suitable candidate.
