A Week of Records for the Slovene Benchmark Index

Ljubljana, 12 January - The Slovene benchmark SBI 20 index at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) bettered its all-time high each day of the past trading week, gaining 60.69 points overall and closing the week at 2,245.91 points. Events at the LJSE this week were once again marked by the takeover battle for Slovenia's second-largest brewery Pivovarna Union.
