Ljubljana, 12 January - The headline news of the week was made on Friday, when Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek surprised many by deciding to announce his candidate to fill the vacant Europe Minister post. However, not so surprising was Drnovsek's decision to select incumbent chief Slovene negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik for the post. Parliament is expected to discuss the matter during its January session. Also making headlines this week, was the announcement that Slovenia has a likely second BSE case on its hands.
