Europe Recognises Slovenia's Independence Ten Years Ago

Ljubljana, 14 January - Mid-January ten years ago marked a crucial time for Slovenia, as the young country was recognised as an independent entity by the Holy See on 13 January, while the recognition of the European Community followed just two days later, on 15 January 1992. Both recognitions were of paramount importance for the country's arrival to the international arena.
