New Diplomacy Sets Foundations for Economic Co-operation, Believes FM Rupel

Maribor, 15 January - Diplomacy is a means of promoting national economic interests, however it cannot perform macroeconomic tasks. Therefore traditional diplomacy is giving way to a new diplomacy, which sets the foundations for economic co-operation, Finance Minister Dimitrij Rupel said Tuesday, the second day of a three-day conference of Slovene diplomats, which was attended today by Slovene businessmen.
