NATO Membership in the Focus as Slovene President Kucan Discusses Foreign Affairs

Ljubljana, 16 January - An issue as important as NATO membership calls for a referendum, Slovene President Milan Kucan said in an interview on national television late on Tuesday. Kucan used the opportunity to touch on a number of foreign affairs issues, including the EU, as well as the recent signing of an agreement with the Holy See on legal issues and relations with neighbouring Croatia.
