Slovene President Kucan Discusses National Interest and Other Issues on the Home Front

Ljubljana, 16 January - National interest, a term that has become very topical in the light of the takeover battle for brewer Pivovarna Union, was commented by Slovene President Milan Kucan who explained in an interview for national television that the term national interest represents the retention of tenor and national matter, which does not only encompass national pride, romantic patriotism, but also concerns the preservation of the language, national enlightenment and the protection of the environment that we live in.
