NATO - Slovenia: President and Prime Minister Voice Their Opinion FOR Slovenia's NATO Membership

Ljubljana, 16 January - President Milan Kucan and Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek clearly supported Slovenia's NATO membership at Wednesday's open debate on the country's NATO integration. "My answer to the question whether Slovenia should join NATO or not, is yes," said Kucan. Similarly, Drnovsek thought that the reasons speaking in favour of NATO membership outweigh the reasons against membership.
