MPs Back Nomination of Potocnik for the Europe Minister

Ljubljana, 16 January - The parliamentary commission for the European affairs and the committee for foreign affairs backed on Wednesday the nomination of Janez Potocnik, head of Slovenia's negotiating team with the EU, for the post of Europe Minister. Parliament is expected to discuss Potocnik's nomination at its January session, with only ordinary majority needed for his appointment.
