Trade Union of Metal Workers Announces to Stage All-Out Strike on 30 January

Ljubljana, 17 January - The trade union of metal workers (SKEI) on Thursday announced it would stage an all-out strike on 30 January after failing to reach an agreement on a 15-percent wages increase with the employers. "The decision is final. Employers have only offered a one to two-percent wages increase, which is unacceptable for us," SKEI President Albert Vodovnik said after the negotiations.
