NATO Membership Benefits Far Outweigh Costs, U.S. Ambassador Believes

Ljubljana, 17 January - "Greater access, cheaper security, regional crisis management and a seat at the table are the "real politik" reasons for Slovenes to want Alliance membership," U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia, Johnny Young, said Thursday in an address on NATO and global security challenges that he delivered to the Slovene Atlantic Council.
