Croatia Replies to Slovenia's Note of Protest against Ban on Road Transport of Oil Products
Ljubljana, 17 January - By introducing a ban on the road transport of crude oil products, Croatia was not aiming to discriminate against neighbouring countries, but was focusing on environmental protection and the prevention of illegal transport of oil, states a note delivered late on Thursday by Croatia's Ambassador to Slovenia, Celestin Sardelic, in reply to a note of protest against Croatia's ban handed over to Sardelic by the Slovene Foreign Ministry on 14 January.
