Constitution Should Be Changed with Great Care, Debaters Agree

Ljubljana, 18 January - Before the public presentation of views on the government-proposed constitutional changes was completed, several debaters stressed Friday that a great deal of caution is called for when amending such an important document as the Constitution. The debate, designed to help the parliamentary constitutional commission with its work on a total of nine proposed changes - ranging from Slovenia's anticipated EU membership and regionalism to women's representation in politics, to name a few.
