Croatia Set to Amend Controversial Ban on Foreign Oil Transports

Zagreb, 18 January - The Croatian government is set to make amendments to the ban on road transport of crude oil across Croatian territory, in such a way that would allow crude oil and its derivatives to be transported by Croatian roads, but only under strict conditions, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan told a Croatian radio station on Friday. Racan's statement ensued an emergency cabinet meeting aimed at examining the matter.
