Drnovsek Comments Presidential Race, Party Congress in Vecer Interview

Maribor, 19 January - Presidents are usually members of some political party and it would be wrong to say that this does not apply for Slovenia, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek commented Slovenia's upcoming presidential race - one that he may yet decide to enter - for Saturday's edition of the Maribor-based daily Vecer. Apart from the presidential race, Drnovsek also commented the upcoming Liberal Democracy (LDS) party congress, his potential successors as party president and his recent pledge to assist struggling textile giant Mura.
