ELES Gets Enron Debt from Insurance Company
Ljubljana, 21 January - The Slovene electricity distributor ELES has been paid the debt that bankrupt U.S. electricity giant owed it for electricity that it sold to Italian consumers. The eleven million euros was covered by the insurance company which had insured the deal between ELES and Enron.
