Mag's Political Barometer: Over 67% Support EU, 56% NATO

Ljubljana, 23 January - Slightly over 67 percent of those polled by the conservative weekly Mag support Slovenia's EU accession, while the support for NATO integration stands at 56 percent. Moreover, the government approval rating stands at 47.5 percent, Political Barometer, Mag's monthly opinion poll, shows. The coalition LDS is the parliamentary party with the strongest support at 23.7 percent, which is nevertheless weaker than last month, Mag observes on Wednesday. Prime Minister and LDS President Janez Drnovsek became the most useful and popular politician in January.
