Slovenia and the EU is Foremost a Marriage of Convenience, Dutch Ambassador Says

Ljubljana, 23 January - Slovenia is in a different position than the Netherlands was when it comes to the EU, Dutch Ambassador to Slovenia Jan C. Henneman told the Slovene business daily Finance, explaining that for the Netherlands - a founding member of the EU - membership was like marriage of love, while for Slovenia, who is only now applying for membership, this will mainly be a marriage of convenience.
